It’s time to brush up on your Japanese and prep for the ultimate battle of mechanical life-forms as Zoids WIld: Infinity Blast roars on to the Nintendo Switch.
In a new trailer by Takara Tomy, they revealed that Infinity Blast was an arena fighter. They showed several playable Zoids, all based on the Zoids franchise. These include Wild Liger, Shadow Spino, Sonic Bat, Mirage Spino and Zerogrisis.
The description of the Japanese trailer is as follows:
“The first PV of the latest Nintendo Switch game software “Zoid Wild Infinity Blast” to be released in winter 2020! This work is equipped with a “modification” mode that allows you to customize the Zoids freely! The latest Zoids such as Zerogrisis are also available! A transcendental battle between mechanical life forms begins here!”
The trailer also shows some of the super moves in the game, with a stylish text underlay behind your Zoid. These are followed up by flashy super moves.
Moreover, the game will also feature customization for your Zoids. These modifications include weapons for your Zoid, altering its moves and stats.
Of course, no customization is complete without a custom paintjob for your Zoid. Naturally, the game will allow this as well.
As this trailer was titled PV1, it’s safe to assume more trailers with new characters are on the way.
