A new Monster Hunter movie still featuring Tony Jaa leaked

Shared on Facebook, a still featuring Tony Jaa from the upcoming Monster Hunter live action movie appears to have been leaked. He stands atop an unidentified creature, apparently getting ready to pounce.

The creature could either be a Plum Daimyo Hermitaur with its massive shell, or a Diabolos which may have a damaged horn. For comparison to the image:

Considering what we can see, it could be either one. Granted, we only have this single image to go on, but we might be able to expect some bombastic action scenes if it’s already injured in this shot.

The Monster Hunter movie stars Tony Jaa and Milla Jovovich, alongside Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Jr., Ron Perlman, Diego Boneta, Meagan Good, Josh Helman and Jin Au-Yeung. The movie was originally slated for a 4 September 2020 release, but has since been delayed to 23 April 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
