YOOZOO Games has announced their new smartphone RPG, Red: Pride of Eden, will be launching on 9 July 2020. In this world of “Eden”, there are apparently no animals, but instead, there are girls with animal characteristics bearing special powers known as “Red”.
In the lead up to release, character introductions and their voice actors will be revealed on their Twitter.
“Red” are originally human girls, but they have awoken to these strange powers, gaining strength, magic and animal ears and claws with them. The Red establish a group for themselves known as “Pride”, and use their powers to complete tasks and quests.
However, ordinary humans fear these Red and their abilities, and thus, they have declared that the Pride’s leader must be a human being. This is where the player comes in, to command these girls. Over 50 of these Red will be available for you to interact with.
Characters will be rendered in Live2D, though they appear to be regular SD characters in actual battle. Together, unravel the mysteries behind the Red and Eden itself. The Red naturally have their own skills to utilize in battle. Exploration appears to have a “board game”-like system within the various locales themselves. There will be a gacha system, as well as PVP.
