The program reveal for the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Esports Asia-Pacific League has been scheduled for 27 May, as well as a celebration of the Rainbow Six Pro League history so far with Rainbow Six Classics. You can catch it on Twitch and Youtube from 11 AM CEST.
For long time fans, the Rainbow Six Classics is an initiative to celebrate the history of the game’s Pro League by recreating memorable matches and/or rivalries of the days past. In order to sunset four years of highly competitive Rainbow Six Pro League, and of course, to celebrate the entry of the Asia-Pacific region into a new era of Rainbow Six Esports, iconic pro teams from the region will rise to the challenge to face off their former rivals. Pro players will compete online with some of the historical settings of the game, such as playing with the historically accurate list of Operators available at the time of the original matches.
Viewers on Twitch can obtain random Twitch Drops that will be activated during the streams. The Siege Pro League charm will be included in the Twitch Drops and delivered in 3 days following the drop.
- A first match will see “FNATIC Classics” face off against “Nora-Rengo Classics”, 2 iconic teams from the Asia-Pacific region, in a re-match of the intense quarter-finals of both the Six Invitational 2019 and the Pro League Finals Season IX that concluded with 1 victory for each team.
- A second match with “Aerowolf Classics” vs “Wildcard Gaming Classics”, will remake the impressive APAC Finals Grand Finale from Pro League Season X.
Viewers will be able to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders throughout the stream.
