Engage Souls pre-registration now open

Square Enix has just opened pre-registration for its upcoming rock paper scissors game Engage Souls for the Android and iOS platform scheduled for a release in summer 2020.

Engage Souls is set in a world where said Engage tournaments are the norm, with elements of rock paper scissors and card battles being in the forefront. The story tells the tale of a team comprising five young boys and girls who aim to be professional Engage proponents known as contractors. You pick from one of six academies and nurture these aspiring contractors and follow their individual stories.

Battles involves players building a deck of cards with different characters, and after a game of rock paper scissors, the character will proceed to summon their souls and unleash attacks. Said characters ca be further strengthened through bonding, and by doing so, you will unlock new abilities and skills. If you tire from fighting against the AI, you can challenge other players in the PVP mode.

If you like card games in general, you may want to give this a shot when it does come out. Should that be the case, be sure to sign up now through any of the social media channels.
