Japan-based game developers CLINKS and codeBB studio will be launching their upcoming RPG Starea Days Wicked on 21 April 2020 for the Android and iOS platforms. Alongside the announcement will be a new PV streamed every week to introduce the characters of the game.
You will not be able to tell from the characters alone, but the girls here are anthropomorphised stationery. Yes, stationery as in pencils, erasers and the like. Players will be taking on the role of a teacher of a high school populated with said stationery girls. For some reason or another, the school is under attack from hostile creatures, so it is up to you to train and nurture these girls to be able to take the fight to them.
Even if the setting sounds perplexing, it is written by Tanisaki Oka, the author of the Demon Lord, Retry! series, so there is some pedigree behind it. As far as gameplay goes, it looks to be like your cookie-cutter turn-based RPG, although that is not necessarily a bad thing. At first glance, it looks to be similar to Princess Connect, meaning there should be a steady audience in place already.
With Starea Days Wicked already achieving its pre-registration target of 25,000, all players will be rewarded accordingly with in-game currency that can be spent on gacha rolls. So if this is your sort of thing, be sure to give it a go when it goes line. Until then, you can drop by the official website for more information.
