The 2020 SEA Overwatch Map Design Contest invites all fans from the Southeast Asian region to showcase their talent to design a unique Overwatch map! Submissions are open until 30 April, with the event site available for contestants to check for details. Besides the competition, the Overwatch League has also unveiled a new legendary Doomfist skin, “Thunder”, to celebrate the San Francisco Shock’s 2019 championship. All Overwatch players on all platforms can obtain the skin for 200 OWL tokens until 9 April.
The Overwatch Map Design is back for its 2020 iteration for the SEA region, with participants able to submit their creations by following a simple sign up process by uploading their art work and filing out the required information. The top 8 works will be selected by the Overwatch art team, with artists receiving awesome rewards. Players can also vote for their favourite, with the top 4 receiving popularity awards.
- Eligibility: players from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

As mentioned, the Overwatch League has also revealed the “Thunder” Doomfist skin, in celebration of the San Francisco Shock 2019 championship. It was developed in collaboration with the team including 2019 league MVP Jay “Sinatraa” Won. “Thunder” follows the other legendary skins representing Overwatch League teams that have been available in the game. This includes the “Flying Ace” London Spitfire Winston skin and “Zen-Nakji” Zenyatta skin for 2018 leavue MVP Seong-Hyun “Jjonak” Bang.
