Both creatures are variants of their original counterparts. Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang are by no means new to the series as a whole, but it’s a welcome sight, and challenge, for fans! Raging Brachydios is bigger and slower than its regular version, with more frequent activations of Slime Mold. Furious Rajang looks much like an enraged regular Rajang, packing an electrified aura. PC players will have to wait a little longer to face the fearsome duo.
If you really want a quick Monster Hunter fix before you get to hunt – or be hunted – by these monster variants, you could try out Monster Hunter Riders! It’s a gacha strategy game featuring characters in iconic Monster Hunter gear, but with differing designs from the mainline game. They are accompanied by their monsters, of course, to battle in tandem. Think of it as a light Monster Hunter Stories spin-off. It’s already reached over 2 million downloads, so give it a shot!
