This would be an excellent opportunity for the local scene to grow. Just the other day, we had reported on the Rainbow Six Operation League Season 1 for certain countries within the Southeast Asia region that includes Malaysia. Malaysia’s hosted events like The KL Major and ESL One Genting for Dota 2, and the PMCO 2019 Fall Split Global Finals for PUBG Mobile too. With Tunku Abdul Rahman University College’s efforts to tap into esports, we’d look forward to seeing the expansion of the industry within the country.
