Summoners War has yet again received a new update, this time opening up the “World Arena” where players can compete against each other on a real-time battle throughout the world. Since the update on the 17th of March, users around the world will be able to experience the real-time battle arena from a separate server; Korea, Europe, China, Japan, Asia and Global.
In the World Arena, players will be able to choose between the Ranking Battle or the Goodwill Battle. The Ranking Battle allows players to match with other similar leveled players at random while the Goodwill Battle allows players to play against their friends or their Guild members. The Ranking Battle runs on a seasonal basis which lasts for 3 months per season. Of course there will be rewards given out after each season. Players can also earn Medals after winning in the World Arena which can be used to exchange for various items.
One of the new features that came along with the update is the Replay Feature where players can watch and share their gameplay for a strategic discussion. With the new Rune Appraisal System added as well, players will be able to change the sub-properties of their Runes into different sub-properties.
Now that the game has set a PvP platform on a global scale, Summoners War is seen to be keen on coming into the competitive scene. Maybe there will be a competition going on soon with a prize pool in the future? I think it’s possible.
