For all those shoot-em-up game fans out there, Phoenix II had been released 2 weeks ago on 28th July and if you haven’t downloaded it already, here’s what the game is like:
Like the previous installment, Phoenix HD, you drag your finger across the screen to move your ship. It automatically fires but you can tap your screen with a second finger to deploy extra weapons and defenses. What’s different this time where you had to fight endless waves of projectiles, Phoenix II focuses more on daily challenges.
You will receive a set mission every 24 hours, and you can also create or join a community for an extra mission. Getting on the scoreboard isn’t as easy, as the chances of survival in this game is pretty low. You get hit in the core and you die. Unless you’re into memorizing waves and know when to activate your shields, otherwise it can be frustrating, especially when you have to keep repeating the same levels if you lose.
This game is a great pick up for those looking for quick repeat games, or just as a past time.
