The responsibilities aren’t anything to sniff at either:
- You will drive the development and construction of our new studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Prepare and report studio metrics, employee efficiencies, studio budget, financial status, and risks on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly operational meetings where you will present the above metrics and critical risks/mitigations.
- You will be partnering with PlayStation’s Head of Visual Arts to work with selected local Universities to assist in training, internships, and placement opportunities.
- Participate in external activities such as industry events, promotional opportunities, and recruiting.
- Work with studio management on planning and staffing needs.
- You will lead all aspects of Facilities, HR, Payroll, Purchases, and Legal requirements.
- You will also manage and coordinate Studio Facilities where you will initially work with our real estate group to identify the studio location and lease agreement, prepare lease option plan(s).
- We will be looking to you to provide government grant and metrics information as needed, and process and handle grant recharge applications to the local government.
- Have a solid understanding of local labor laws as it pertains to staffing and recruiting.
- Work with the management team to build a strong studio culture.
