Onmyoji: The Card Game, previously known as Onmyoji SSR, has been released on Chinese App Stores! You can download it on its website should you wish to try. Marketed as a more casual game, players will need to use their cards to reduce their opponent’s health to zero! You will be needing a Chinese phone number to access the game.
Thanks to reddit user 500scnds, you can try to grasp the basics. Do note that these were written when the game was originally in closed beta.

【瞬发】 (Instant)
The first card used each round with instant effect will not consume orbs.-
If multiple cards have instant, only the first will take effect (not consume orbs)

Overflow damage to shikigami will be dealt to the cardholder. -
【觉醒】 (Awaken)
Awakened ability will replace the shikigami’s original ability.-
Awakened ability will not disappear when shikigami dies (gets staggered)

【协战】 (Assist)
An after-effect following a shikigami’s attack in the current round. It only takes effect after a shikigami (yours or others) attacks. -
【投射】 (Cast)
Deals damage to a shikigami in the enemy battle zone, otherwise damages the opposing cardholder. -
【迅捷】 (Quicken)
Taking action to battle will not consume orbs but will consume this status. If you already attacked this round, you still won’t be able to attack. -
【占据】 (Occupy)
Effect will trigger when you have a shikigami in the battle zone at the beginning of your round. Occupy effect will trigger no matter if it’s your own or an allied shikigami. -
【强化战斗指令】 (Strengthen battle command)
The next time a shikigami is ordered to attack through battle command, the shikigami gets strengthening effect. -
【不屈】 (Dauntless)
When health is greater than 1, any damage taken will only -1 health. -
【倒计时】 (Countdown)
Starting from your round the countdown -1, when countdown reaches 0 an effect is triggered and countdonw is reset. Each shikigami can have one countdown at most, a new countdown effect will replace the previous countdown. -
【远程】 (Ranged)
Can attack from the preparation zone, will not be counter-attacked.
Shikigami will automatically attack another shikigami in the battle zone. If there are none, then they will directly attack the opponent. Shikigami cannot be attacked when not in the battle zone. A shikigami will be exposed to attack after attacking the opponent. If you avoid battle, then your opponent can directly strike you.
Shikigami will have cards that belong to them, with differing effects. Cards that belong to a shikigami will have the same colour as them. “Grade” indicates the power of the card: low grade makes them easier to use earlier in the battle. Grades increase gradually over the course of the fight. The beta had it increase at one grade per round. Status cards have curved tops to upgrade their respective shikigami. Battle cards with a pointed top has the shikigami do additional attacks. Flat top cards are Art cards, which are basically spell cards.
Shikigami get “staggered” as they sustain damage, and will revive after 3 turns. Any status effects will be lost on revival. Shikigami also leave the battle zone when staggered.
Last but not least, players will have 2 orbs for actions. Using a card or directing a shikigami to fight will consume orbs. Upgrading does not use orbs.
