Developer D-techno has just announced that it is working on a game based on the upcoming third season of “A Certain Scientific Railgun”, going by the working title of A Certain Scientific Railgun: Spectrum Story. The game is scheduled to be out for the Android and iOS platforms, although no release date was disclosed.
In A Certain Scientific Railgun: Spectrum Story, the game takes on the role of a protagonist in the Academy City who accidentally stumbles upon a terminal equipped with a mysterious system dubbed experiment. You make contact with Mikoto Misaka, electromaster and one of the very few Level-5 espers in Academy City.
Nothing else is known about the game, particularly as to what the genre or gameplay will be, but given the significance of the release, we will be hearing a lot more about it sooner than later. We’re probably getting an RPG, but who knows.
That aside, be sure to follow the official Twitter and retweet the tweet below to stand a chance at winning an autograph from Rina Satou, the voice actress of Misaka Mikoto.
