It’s another gacha game! Characters range from 1- to 5-star rarity, likewise with weapons and armour. Each character has a weapon and armour slot. When you get a dupe, it will limit break the character, so it’s another matter of luck for you to get repeats to upgrade them. You can limit break them up to four times. The game is not fully voiced, with only characters at 3-star rarity and above getting introductory lines in the gacha. Likewise, the story doesn’t have full voice either.

Battle is pretty standard: up to six characters will be on the field on the left, monsters coming in from the right. A gradually filling blue bar on the bottom left is how you use skills: each skill use will use up a bar. Burst on the bottom right will give your characters a large boost in power, and triggers all your character skills at once!

Boss monsters have a bar that will fill as you hit it, to enter a so-called “overdrive” mode. Likewise, it will also enter a “break” mode. Watch out for the little pips under the boss’ HP bar too. When those fill, it will use a special attack! Of course, there is also the elemental weakness/strengths in play too, so keep those in mind.

Battle speed can be increased with the top left buttons, as well as the auto battle function. Pressing the pause button will allow you to see any buffs or debuffs on your characters, handy! Characters can be improved not just by limit break, but also personal skill nodes. Those will require coins and materials.
