It’s looking to be a packed weekend for GameStart Asia 2019! Takashi Tokita was on hand to answer a few questions at a press conference pre-event, briefly touching on ONINAKI, his experience within the game industry and so forth. It’s interesting that he thinks JRPGs being popular due to being made by those influenced by manga/anime, especially those that touch on heavier subjects. He says that JRPGs don’t get seen as “childish”, with relatable content to gamers. We’ll be hearing more of that during his few sessions at the event, we’re sure!
