Digimon ReArise Global soft-launches, quick hits

After all the news about its global launch, Digimon ReArise is finally available in the west! The game is available in English, Chinese and Korean. Let’s briefly go through the game, shall we?

Go through the story with your stalwart companion, Herissmon. You’ll be meeting other characters you see in the feature image. Defeat mysterious digital beings known as Spirals. Bond with your Digimon to make both of you stronger. The main story is presented as though it were an anime; complete with “next time on”-like transitions, giving it a bit more personality. It isn’t fully voiced, but you can choose to hear either English or Japanese vocals.

Missions will generally have 3 additional objectives to gain rewards, pretty standard. There will be special timed quests for materials. Achieve milestones for further rewards. Be sure to clear the special rubies quest for premium currency! You can also participate in raid-like battles, so support your fellow Tamers!

Digimon can roam your DigiTown. They can be your own, or guest Digimon you can greet. Here is also where you can feed Digimon for bonding. They can request specific foods that will improve their mood. Mood is important, as at the end of missions, you can get additional items based off Mood Bonuses. You also need a high enough Bond for Digivolution. Besides that, there are Incubators for DigiEggs. Hatch them to get new Digimons to raise into Rookies!

Naturally, since this is a gacha game, there are some Digimon that you would want to look for! Recommended Mega-level Digimon are:

• WarGreymon: Primarily for PvE content thanks to hard-hitting single-target skills
• Minervamon: Good in both PvE and PvP with multi-target, good damaging skills
• HiAndromon: For later game content where DEF boosting is important
