Mario Kart Tour now available globally!

Start your engine, racers. The race is being setting up and it is about to begin today! It wasn’t long ago since last year that Nintendo announced that all loving and friendship crushing franchise is coming to mobile. Now, Mario Kart is now available to download but you need to wait the game is fully launched which is on 1 a.m. (PT) and 4 p.m. (GMT+8).

As you all may know, Mario Kart Tour sets up their race based on real life cities. For every 2 weeks, the race tracks changes and it looks like the first tour would be in New York City! Grand Stars can be collected based on your race performance in the game. The number of Grand Stars that you can earn depends on the points you get in the game and the maximum stars you can get is 5 Grand Stars. Collecting Grand Stars can unlock new cups and Tour Gifts.

You can control your kart by swiping left and right depends on which direction that you’re going! Depending on which courses that you participate in, you can have up to three items slots! If you managed to get a three of the same item, Frenzy mode will activate and you will be invincible till the mode runs off.

There are several ways to build your roster. Firstly, you can get it from Tour Gifts. The Tour Gifts can get you drivers, kart, gliders and more. Aside from that, another way to get more characters is from the pipe which you can buy with rubies. You can get drivers, kart and gliders from the pipe. Speaking of drivers, there are some drivers that are only available in certain tour! In New York City, you can get Mario (Musician) and Pauline!
