On 19th September, ESL announced their interest in making an APAC Brawl Stars Tournament. It’s now official with the “Brawl Stars World Championship Qualifiers” tournament for APAC or so called Asia-Pacific(APAC). If you don’t know what Brawl Stars is, check this trailer out!
Brawl Stars is a team based 3v3 PvP fight. The team that collects 12 gems and hold it successfully for 15 seconds wins the match!
28th September marks the date for both of the qualifiers in Southeast Asia (SEA) and Australia & New Zealand (AU&NZ). Top 16 teams from each qualifier will compete again within an online finals stage that will be livestreamed across multiple platforms.
SEA Qualifier – September 28
Countries qualified: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei and East Timor.
Top 4 teams from the SEA qualifier will proceed to the offline regional finals.
AU & NZ Qualifier – September 28
Countries qualified: Australia and New Zealand.
Top 2 teams will qualify for the offline regional finals.

Top 6 teams from the APAC Open Qualifiers, along with representatives from Indonesia and India will go to the Offline Finals, at The Pantheon, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a total prize pool of US$7,000. The Offline Finals will be on both 19th and 20th October. Tournament format will feature a double elimination, best of 5 format. The winner of the tournament will be qualifying to the Brawl Stars World Championship.
