Last week, we covered up that TV series anime, HunterxHunter, will be having their own mobile game, HunterxHunter: Arena Battle! The second website of the countdown for the game has been set and the website of the game has opened. Let’s take a look inside! Here is a trailer of the opening movie for the game.
HunterxHunter: Arena Battle is a card battle game where you get to control 30 cards in one deck and fight against other players. There is 2 type of card which is character card and action card. A character card is a card where you can use that character’s abilities! Meanwhile, the action card is a cards that have effects and can only be used once per turn.
There will be various game mode available in the game. First, there is Dojo mode where you can practice the game with an AI. There is also Rank Match where the Rank system will follow the ranks just like in the anime. From the lowest rank to highest rank: Amateur Hunter, License Holder, Professional Hunter, One Star Hunter, Two Star Hunter and Three Star Hunter. Then, there is a Free Match where you just randomly assigned to another player in a casual match. You can also create a room and invite your friends to have a match against them!
Currently, DeNA is searching for the recruits for the Beta Test for HunterxHunter: Arena Battle. However, this Beta Test is only available for iOS playes. The recruitment period will start from September 2nd till September 5th. The acceptance for the application will be decided by lottery. If you are still interested, you can apply for the recruitment application here. Besides that, the game is also up for pre-registration. You can pre-register for the game through Twitter and Line. There will be a per-registration as well when a certain amount of players pre-registered for the game:
