The 1994-released The Lion King game and 1993-released Aladdin game will be included into a remastered collection. Both were originally developed by Virgin Interactive for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (Lion King only). The collection will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders open 28 August, with a fall release. The news was announced at the 2019 GME Conference.
The Lion King and Aladdin are both said to be playable in 1080p and original resolutions. The original soundtrack will also be included. New features, like fast-forwarding or rewinding to any part of the game, and assist mode, will be included.
For now, there’s no news if the collection will be available for PC. Since it’s available for all current consoles, the likelihood is high.
