Well, it’s Gamescom time, and the event is going into full gear. We got the gameplay trailer, so let’s break it down.
Customizations? Check. Cops? Check. Burn rubber all over Palm City, both day and night. The day offers sanctioned races through the Speedhunter Showdown. You’ll be starting out here to earn that money for your ride’s customizations, both aesthetics and performance. You’ll have your cops, of course. Pretty tame when you think about it, just fines for speeding and controlled moves to slow you down. Challenges and collectibles await you in the open world. Once you’re done, shift to night mode.
You have your REP to build up through illicit street races. Turn up your Heat and rake in that REP. All eyes will be on you, and that includes the cops. They’re not going to play fair at night. As your Heat level goes up, they’re going to pull all the tricks on you, from helicopters to rhinos. Your car can only take so much, so know when to fold it. Escape to a hideout or garage without getting busted, and ride another day. You don’t want to lose all that you’ve earned.
Of course, your car is your life in here. Tune it up and make your ride your own in the garage. Build up REP at night, and unlock all those parts. Customization has been revamped, with more styles and comes with an exhaust tuning system. Don’t forget to style yourself too, show off your duds on your avatar in Palm City. That’s not all, get the Need for Speed Heat Studio app – available for Android and iOS – and get early access into car customization. Connect your account and upload it directly to the game.
Team up with friends in ALL DRIVE. You’ll be able to see their rides in your garage too, to keep up with their creations. There’ll be leaderboards and challenges among the crew too, so get your name up there.
Turn the key. Burn all limits.
