A new Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris trailer has been released. In it, we can see Medina Orthinanos, a game-original character, introduce herself.
Via Gematsu, the Ortinanos’ are a second class noble family, and Medina is the daughter of the ninth generation family head. Normally calm, she gets more belligerent in battle. Medina is on a mission to become stronger and distinguished in battle, to clear the dishonour on her family name.
The PS4 version of Alizication Lycoris will be playable at Tokyo Games Show 2019, which will be at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan from 12-15 September. 14 September will see a stage event as well. A manga adaptation of the game featuring Medina will be authored by Tomo Hirokawa, who previously did Hollow Realization.
Additionally, Bandai Namco announced an original design contest for Alicization Lycoris! Winners stand a chance to see their design appear within the game.
