Single player mode has been one of many a player’s wish ever since Apex Legends dropped in February. Matches have always been played in teams of three but that’s about to change. You’ll get to drop into on your own in King’s Canyon, for a limited time.
The Solos mode will arrive with the Iron Crown Collection event, from 13 – 27 August. You can reasonably expect loot and/or challenges to be included. Solos mode could be a test for a more permanent solo queue experience, or possibly other formats like Duos. Fortnite has always allowed solo and up to three players on the battle bus.

We’ll talk more about Solos when it’s live and you’ve had a chance to play it. For now we’re going to put it out there and see what happens and what kind of feedback we get.
Without revivals or respawns possible, Solo mode could see a vastly different meta. We’ll see what Legends people go for when they don’t have teammates.
