The announcement of Final Fantasy 8 Remastered is one of the most exciting news from Square Enix this morning. This remaster will be available on PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Final Fantasy 8 was first launched all the way back in 1999 for the PS1. In the game, you lead Squall Leonhart and his team of mercenaries. The newly remastered version promises an overhaul in visuals. Hopefully, this includes scaling the game to fit the modern day widescreen displays.
Square Enix has not confirmed any other details but we’ll be keeping a close eye on any incoming updates. Fans can expect to be able to play Final Fantasy 8 Remastered later this year, with the trailer confirming that it will be coming soon in 2019.
