[E3 2019] Fallout 76 is getting free new modes – Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter, a battle royale mode

During the recent Bethesda E3 2019 Showcase, the company has announced two brand new modes for Fallout 76, namely Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter, which is a 52-player PvP battle royale mode. Both the new updates will be free and here are the details!

Wastelanders:

Factions of Raiders and Settlers aim to make the world their own and claim a rumored fortune. Who you side with is up to you, and your choices will determine their fates. Both the Settlers and the Raiders will present you with unique companions, stories and plenty of new weapons and armor to earn.

This huge update introduces a new main quest full of choices and consequences, and a lot of memorable characters (human NPCs) with unique stories for you to interact with. Wastelanders is set to arrive in fall of 2019.

Nuclear Winter:

Nuclear Winter is Fallout 76’s new battle royale mode that pits you against other players like never before. You will take part in a 52-player fight to be the last one standing. Rank up, unlock new and exclusive Perks, deploy a C.A.M.P. and even launch nukes.

You can carry your Adventure Mode character into Nuclear Winter, however their level won’t affect how much damage you can inflict or receive. You can only raise your damage output and increase defensives by tracking down weapons and armor as the match progresses. Learn more about the new mode here.
