As you may have already known, Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss opened a subsidiary in Taiwan to self-publish the game in the Great China region which includes Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, as it prepares for an open beta launch in 25 January 2017.
The development team will be looking at possibly introducing a second awakening for the classes in 2017, feeling players have gotten too strong after the first awakening. As such, the devs are looking to power-up players who have yet to awaken by introducing the second awakening for the starter weapons.
Meanwhile, the mobile version of Black Desert, while for the most part is the same game as its PC counterpart, does have some content differences when compared to the PC version. It is also worth nothing that there will be PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports of Black Desert, although the team has not specified if there will be any cross-platform features involved.
