Pokemon Sword and Shield confirmed to have trainer customization

Being able to trainer customization has been a thing since Pokemon X and Y – a tradition that Pokemon Sword and Shield continues.

Through a Twitter post by Serebii, it was revealed that Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo will have some of its T-shirt designs featured in the upcoming Nintendo Switch title. To be exact, your Pokemon trainer in the game will have access to the T-shirt designs from Uniqlo’s Pokemon T-shirt design competition.

Of course, you should also be able to customize your trainer’s outfit however you like. In Pokemon X and Y, you not only got to change your outfit but also add accessories like hats, eyewear, and bags. While we’re not sure how much customization Pokemon Sword and Shield will have, we expect this flexibility to remain.
