Acer has just concluded the Next@Acer2019 Global Press Conference in New York and plenty of new interesting stuffs were announced, as we reported earlier. Let’s get right into more details of the new Acer Nitro 7 and the upgraded version of Nitro 5.

Both laptops adopt 9th Gen Intel Core processors and the latest NVIDIA graphics with fast refresh rates at 144Hz and a low latency of just 3ms. The new Nitro 7 is for casual gamers and has the best in both design and performance. Measured at just 0.78 inches thin with a 78 percent screen-to-body ratio, its battery can last up to 7 hours. Meanwhile, the upgraded Nitro 5 has an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to its 0.28-inch thin narrow-bezel design. Also, good news as it will be arriving in Malaysia this month!

Both the Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 feature dual fans, plus Acer CoolBoost technology and a dual exhaust port designed to keep the Nitro 7 chilled out during extended gaming sessions. CoolBoost increases fan speed by 10 percent and CPU and GPU cooling by 9 percent compared to auto mode.

Audio quality-wise, Acer have also upped their game with the Waves MaxxAudio advanced sound optimization technologies for both laptops. They are also equipped with the Killer Ethernet E2500 or Acer’s Network Optimizer to prioritize gameplay. Therefore, gamers won’t have to worry about problems such as video freezes and connectivity issues hindering their gaming experience ever again.
