Fighting Ex Layer Alpha: A polished and satisfying mobile fighting game

Fighting Ex Layer Alpha is a mobile game born from the idea of Fighting Ex Layer as an April Fools prank a couple years ago. However, Arika did actually came out with a playable mobile game yesterday on April Fools and that’s the Fighting Ex Layer Alpha.

To our surprise, the game came out pretty well for a fighting game on mobile phone.

It’s so fine tuned that makes the combat system in the game pretty simple so anyone can enjoy it. In actual combat, players only need to swipe and mash their screens, skills can be pulled off by drawing certain patterns.

There are also an array of fighters for players to pick with each of their skills vary from each other.

Besides that, there’s even a Gougi system which can tremendously boost players attack. There’s currently 15 of it and each has it’s own unique playstyle which can help turn around favors in battle.

More importantly, it’s developed using Unreal Engine and that’s what made the game so gorgeous looking.
