Rejoice classic Blizzard games fans! Blizzard Entertainment and GOG.COM will be relaunching select classic Blizzard games on PC. The list begins with the original Diablo, you can now get the legendary 1996 action RPG on GOG.COM.
Diablo introduces players to the harsh and deeply rewarding world of Sanctuary. With the period-appropriate 20 FPS SVGA graphics and the ability to matchmake through the classic version of Blizzard’s Battle.net, the original Battle.net version lets you experience the authentic gameplay as it was in 1996. There is also a GOG-enhanced version that offers Windows 10 compatibility, up-scaling support for resolution and refresh rate control, and a host of bug fixes.
Other than Diablo, Blizzard will be re-releasing Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II on GOG.COM as well. Stay tuned for more updates! For those who can’t wait to jump back to the original game, it is available now at only $9.99.
