They have recently been bombarded with requests from their YouTube viewers to forge the legendary Excalibur. There has been plenty of designs of the legendary sword but the Men at Arms has chosen the one design from King of Avalon. The video was sponsored by King of Avalon themselves for being chosen as the blacksmith’s next project.
Here’s how Excalibur was forged!:
The Men at Arms is famous for their forgery on midieval weaponry, being blacksmiths that has practiced the long arts of forgery. For every step they have taken, explanations were done to keep viewers informed and up to date. Excalibur resulted in a very beautifully hand made wooden hilt with authentic markings on the sword. The embossed handmade figure of the Dragon on the middle of the Cross Guard creates an Avalonian feel.
The replica of the sword, Excalibur was made as close as possible to the one illustrated in the King of Avalon game. The heart and soul put into forging it was truly mesmerizing to watch. Check out their videos for other weapons that they have made and watch your favourite virtual and fictional weapons being made!
