The third title of the successful Starlit series, Starlit On Wheels will arrive globally on the race tracks very soon. The kart racing mobile game will be available for free on Android and iOS devices starting January 31st.
The game is the third installment of the Starlit series by Brazilian studio Rockhead. The series, featuring the first two titles, Adventures and Archery, has seen more than 10 million downloads on mobile devices and also on PlayStation 4. With a Starlit animation currently under development, the series is an award-winning transmedia franchise with comics available in various languages.
In Starlit On Wheels, players will get to see the series’ main characters in action on various colourful race tracks. Main characters include Bo, Kikki, Pikke and even the villain Nuru. All characters and vehicles are self-customizable in terms of speed, acceleration and handling. Players can find the best strategy for themselves so that they can be the first to reach the finish line.
The series is about a group of peaceful creatures that live on Starlit Island, known as the Starlits. The Starlits who live off the stars around the floating island in the night sky saw their precious source taken away by the evil Nuru. The dispirited Starlits have to then use the last remaining star to travel to the Low Lands to battle Nuru.
The races are not the only fun part you will get. The game features a huge total of 128 tracks that were carefully developed by Rockhead. Furthermore, the game allows players to make their own tracks imaginatively. Players can then share them to the community and the best tracks of each week will be selected for the in-game Cup. The game will progressively receive even more new content after it launches.
