One Piece Bounty Rush to relaunch this year

After a lengthy lay-off due to various in-game issues that led to a long-term maintenance dating back to April last year, One Piece Bounty Rush will finally be back soon. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will be back running very soon, although the specific date of release is still unclear.

One Piece Bounty Rush is a 4-vs-4 action RPG mobile game based on the popular anime series, One Piece. It will come as a free download on the App Store and Google Play. Former players can be excited as the game makes a comeback after almost a year out.

Just like previously, four players can form a team by selecting a pirate each from over 40 original characters from the series and battle it out with another team. Characters include Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Arlong and Shanks.

Teamwork has always been an important aspect when it comes to team battles and One Piece Bounty Rush offers just exactly the challenge players need. Involve yourself in a tussle for berries and loot with your opponents and the team that obtains the most loot wins!

Additionally, there is an ongoing global campaign on their official Facebook Page. In this World Wide Character Poll, vote for the character you want to receive in the game by using reactions. Love, like and haha are for Sanji, Nami and Chopper respectively. Once the campaign ends, all players will receive the first place character as a present. The event ends on 21st January so hurry up!
