Baroque Syndrome now available for smartphones

Shortly after the announcement, Japan-based game developer Sting has released its latest game Baroque Syndrome for the Android and iOS platforms. The game is available in Japan for JPY 600.

If the name sounds familiar, you have a keen eye for the visual novel medium, as Baroque Syndrome was originally released for the PlayStation in 2000, which was in turn a prequel to the first Baroque game that came out for the Sega Saturn in 1998. The game depicts the events which took place before the “Blaze” cataclysm.

If your cup of tea is reading interactive storybooks marketed as games, then Baroque Syndrome will be right up your alley. Games like these are far and few in between, so it might be worth checking out just for that alone.
