Bandai Namco launches Ultra Kaiju Battle Breeder for smartphones

After much deliberation, Bandai Namco finally launched their previously announced Ultraman Kaiju-themed game, Ultra Kaiju Battle Breeder for Android smartphones first. The iOS version will follow suit on a later date.

We are looking at a turn-based strategy game where players are granted the opportunity of building teams consisting of different Kaiju from various Ultraman series. Subsequently, you will be able to field said monsters for combat.

Unlike other mobage, Ultra Kaiju Battle Breeder does not feature a gacha system of any sort. Instead, players are required to clear missions and farm special stages in order to get new Kaiju and earn shards to strengthen them further. As all the pre-registration milestones for the game have been reached, players will be rewarded accordingly with all early bird goodies.

It is definitely interesting that some attention is being paid to the least appreciated part of the Ultraman series, which are the monsters themselves. No matter how good the Ultraman in question is, they are only as good as the monster that they face off.
