Ares Virus – Zombie survival for Android and iOS

Ares Virus has launched for both Android and iOS systems. The game plays as an RPG with a zombie survival theme using a top-down camera.

In Ares Virus, players take the role of a survivor in a city under threat from zombies. The zombies originate from the Ares Virus, hence the title of the game. However, zombies are not the only threat that players will have to face. Players will have to interact with NPCs and some may turn into enemies depending on the player’s actions. The game boasts an open ending, leaving players to determine their own path. Each decision made by the player may or may not affect the ending.

Item and equipment management plays a big role in this game. As a survival game, players have access to limited resources and need to manage them properly to avoid unnecessary wasteful usage. On the other hand, each enemy have their own weaknesses. Players need to take note of these weaknesses in order to bring the best weapons as a counter.

In addition to the top-down camera view, the game uses a double joystick system as well. Players control character movement on the left side of the screen. On the other hand, the right side controls other actions such as aiming, shooting and running.
