All Day Everyday
The basis of pretty much just about every mobile game is to do your dailies. This rings true here as well. Bounties, as daily missions in Command and Conquer: Rivals are known, are to be completed everyday. Each cleared bounty gives you goodies, while doing all five means getting a crate where all the good stuff are.
Greed is good
Money talks, and tiberium is the language of this game. If the map you start out in has green crystals in the vicinity, make mining it your top priority. If your opponent is equally fast at churning out units, the only way to beat them is to churn out better units more often.
Remember the basics
While it is tempting to spam your best units right off the bat, this is often the worst possible move you can make. Always stick to cheap and low-level units to suss out what your opponents field. Once you have an idea of what their play style is like and have a steady flow of units churned, only then should you deploy the stronger and expensive units.
Expect the unexpected
While the idea is to rush to a point to capture it, there are actually several strategies you can employ to throw your opponent off their tempo. The first is to build a number of anti-vehicle units to rush down their harvester. Be warned however, as harvesters are fairly sturdy units. However chances are your opponents while immediately focus on defending their harvester, allowing you to bumrush them elsewhere. Also, apart from launching the missile, you can actually attack the enemy base directly to deal damage. This method of course is a lot slower, but pretty much a guaranteed win if you are already overwhelming your opponent.
With friends like these…
When the option is open to you, join an alliance right away. Apart from belonging to a group of player, alliance serves to fulfil troop donation requests. This way, you will have a steady supply of donated troops which you will need to strengthen your existing ones.
Hope these Command and Conquer: Rivals beginner tips help you out! Have fun playing the game!
