Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Legacy of the First Blade Episode 1 launched

Ubisoft has launched the first episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Legacy of the First Blade today. The episode introduces new elements and features to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as well as a look into the first user of the Hidden Blade, Darius.

In Hunted, the title of the first episode, players will meet Darius, a mysterious man who wields the iconic hidden blade. Episode 1 reveals a new threat to the players, the Order of the Ancients, a Persian organization.

Each of the three episodes of Legacy of the First Blade will include a new ability linked to the skill tree. Hunted provides players with Death Veil, a new assassin ability. The ability causes any enemy that the player kills to disappear, making it a very useful ability for stealth. Furthermore, the DLC comes with new legendary equipment to help players deal with the new threat.

The release of Legacy of the First Blade marks the first part of the planned DLC episodic storylines for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Season Pass owners have access to both planned DLCs. However, players who wish to access Hunted need to clear the Naxos questline in Episode 7 of the main story. Furthermore, players also need to be at level 28.
