Yakuza Online was first announced by SEGA in last year’s August and after much deliberation, the latest installment in the long-standing series is finally confirmed to be out on 21 November. In conjunction with its release, there will be a pre-release livestream on 19 November 2018 to build that last minute hype on Youtube and Periscope.
Kazuhiro Nakaya, the voice actor for the protagonist for the game’s Ichiban Kasuga will make an appearance, alongside Takaya Kuroda, the voice actor for Kazuma Kiryu, who has been the main character for the past games. The live stream will pit the two against one another in a team competition of sorts.
Furthermore, results of the Yakuza series character popularity contest will be announced, which will see the top character added to Yakuza Online. Of course, chief producer Masayoshi Yokoyama and Yakuza Online director Akio Horii will join to give their two cents.
The game comes out in Japan on 21 November 2018 for PC, iOS, and Android.
