Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will arrive in Malaysia on the 22nd of March 2019. In conjunction, the collector’s edition of the game is available on the same day.
Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice is developed by FromSoftware, the people who brought us Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Unlike the latter two games, Sekiro brings along an extra something that the two did not have.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice features a more in-depth story compared to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Players take control of a shinobi who was left for dead after his lord was kidnapped and his arm was severed by the lead samurai of the Ashina clan. The game follows the shinobi’s journey to rescue his kidnapped lord.
However, having an in-depth story does not jeopardize the combat in Sekiro. Similar to Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Sekiro is an action RPG with relatively high difficulty. Players will most likely go through an experience where they will be constantly dying. Players will also have a fully customisable prosthetic arm in game that will help them in combat. A grappling hook is available for players.
The initial purchase bonus of the physical standard and digital editions will include digital art works featuring the game’s concept art. Furthermore, the bonus also include an Original Mini Soundtrack which features in-game soundtrack. The physical edition comes in a special package. Additionally, fans can pre-order the digital edition by 21 March 2019 to receive a PS4 original theme as a pre-order bonus.
On the other hand, fans are getting a treat with the collector’s edition. It comes with a 18cm statue, an artbook, a map, a Steelbook, replica game coins and the digital soundtrack.
Fans can now pre-order the game for their desired platform. For more info, you can visit their official site.
