Few days ago, Bandai Namco held a press conference in Shiryouko Studio, Taiwan. They announced info on the global release of their upcoming mobile game, Sword Art Online: Memory Drefrag. Here’s a trailer if you have not seen it yet:

They had a pre-registration for the game that started a long time ago, however there were no release dates of the game. It was taking so long that it seemed like things might have gone sour in their department. However hope has never let us down!
The reason behind their delay was because the publishers in Japan are trying to enter the global market as a whole. Meaning to say, they are launching the game in different languages for different regions in one go instead of launching in multiple phases. Though the downside to it is that it will take time to integrate multiple localization into the game.
This is good news to all of us SAO fans as it will be launched globally on a single date. Over 15 countries in 2017 namely The USA, France, Germany, England, Italy, Belgium, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong will receive the game.
If you have not pre-register for the game, you can pre-register now to get exclusive rewards!
