Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Code List and the Requirements

Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is out for PS4 and Xbox One, have you enjoyed spending your days in the wild west? Following the tradition of the Rockstar Games’ video games, Red Dead Redemption 2 unsurprisingly allows you to use cheat codes too for extra fun or easier gaming. In this Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Code List, we compiled all the cheat codes we know along with the item required to use them, so check them out below!

Here is our gameplay:

To activate a cheat code, you will need to pause the game and go to the Settings Menu. Then, you can press Triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox One) to bring up the Cheats menu and enter the cheat codes.

List of Red Dead Redemption 2 cheat code:

• Abundance is the dullest desire
  • Function: Gain infinite ammo supply
  • Requirement: Purchase “New Hanover Gazette No. 27” from the newspaper seller in Valentine
• A fool on command
  • Function: Instantly makes you drunk
  • Requirement: None
• A simple life, a beautiful death
  • Function: Add basic weapons to your inventory
  • Requirement: None
• Balance. All is balance
  • Function: Reset Honor Rating
  • Requirement: None

• Better than my dog
  • Function: You can call your horse from any distance (increase horse whistle range)
  • Requirement: None
• Death is silence
  • Function: Add stealth weapons (Machete, Throwing Knives, Poison Knives, Tomahawks, Homing Tomahawks) to your inventory
  • Requirement: None
• Greed is American virtue
  • Function: Add 1x Pump-Action Shotgun, 1x Bolt Action Rifle, 1x Mauser Pistol and 1x Semi-Automatic Pistol to your inventory
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the “Advertising, the New American Art” in Chapter 3
• I seek and I find
  • Function: Set your level of Dead Eye skill to Rank 5
  • Requirement: None

• I shall be better
  • Function: Set your level of Dead Eye skill to Rank 3
  • Requirement: None

• Keep your dreams simple
  • Function: Spawns a Wagon with one horse
  • Requirement: None
• Run! Run! Run!
  • Function: Spawns a Race Horse
  • Requirement: None
• The lucky be strong evermore
  • Function: Gives infinite stamina for you and your horse
  • Requirement: Newspaper required (we don’t how to get it yet)
• Vanity. All is vanity
  • Function: Unlocks all outfits
  • Requirement: None
• Virtue Unearned is not virtue
  • Function: Raises Honor Rating
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the “Urban Pleasures” in Chapter 04

• Would you be happier as a clown?
  • Function: Spawns a Circus Wagon
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the Epilogue
• You are a beast built for war
  • Function: Spawns a War Horse
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the Epilogue
• You flourish before you die
  • Function: Refills all bars for health, stamina and deadeye
  • Requirement: None
• You Long for Sight but See Nothing
  • Function: Reveals the entire map
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the “Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern” in Chapter 3
• You Seek More Than The World Offers
  • Function: Refill and fortify all bars for health, stamina and deadeye
  • Requirement: Purchase a newspaper that is available after completing the “The King’s Son” in Chapter 06

• You want freedom
  • Function: Lowers your current wanted rating
  • Requirement: None
• You want more than you have
  • Function: Spawns a Superior Horse
  • Requirement: None
• You want punishment
  • Function: Raises your current wanted rating
  • Requirement: None

However, note that you wouldn’t be able to save your game and unlock achievements anymore after you activate any of the cheat codes. So make sure you saved another manual save file for your main game before you start using your cheat codes!
