The Epic of Hero now available for smartphones

Japan-based game developer Clover Lab has just officially launched The Epic of Hero for the Android and iOS platforms. For the uninitiated, the game serves as the successor to Valdylia Senki, featuring an enhanced strategic combat system and a new PvP mode.

The Epic of Hero is a semi-auto SRPG in which players have to establish their team formation prior to combat and use skills at the most opportune moment in order to achieve victory. The game boasts well over 200 different units from an assortment of races and classes. Half the battle is decided by how well you have set up your team ahead of time, so you will have your work cut out for you before you even step foot on the battlefield.

If you are a strategy buff, then this is one not to be passed up. To sweeten the deal, all players will be given a free 10x gacha summon ticket upon start of the game, so feel free to abuse the rerolls and get a good starting lineup before you dive in.
