Gestart Odin announced by Square Enix

A joint game project with Aiming has just been announced by Square Enix for the Android and iOS platforms. Going by the name Gestart Odin this mobile RPG is scheduled for a release sometime in Autumn 2018.

What makes the game unique is the fact that its primary focus is having guest characters from other franchises, the first of which is Sanrio’s Cinnamoroll. Cinnamoroll will appear as “Buddy Cinnamon” and act as the primary assistant for players in the game. There are not much details on the game at this point, but do expect more information to come out soon as this seems to be a major project by the game’s publisher.

The teaser site gives very little away with the game logo against a city backdrop which looks like it is some city in Japan. For all we know, this could be an RPG set in the current era ala Persona, but your guess is as good as ours at this point.
