Rejoice Tokyo Ghoul fans, we have a good news for you! Bandai Namco has recently revealed that they are bringing Tokyo Ghoul: Re Invoke to the west under the name “TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth]” this fall. If you are new to the game, it is a tap-based RPG based on the manga of the same title (obviously) which has been released in Japan since March 2017.
TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth] will be featuring over 100 characters from Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul √A which includes Ken Kaneki, Kisho Arima, as well as Haise Sasaki and Quinx from the latest season – Tokyo Ghoul:re. The game also features a 6-person tap-combo battle system, you will form a team of 6 (3 in the front line, 3 in the back) and be able to deal consecutive attacks or combos using skills and character switches.
Several modes such as Territory Battle, where players will split into Ghoul or Human to fight for control over the wards and Raid, where players will face tough enemies (eg: Rate SS Ghouls) are available in the English version too.
TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth] will be available this fall for both Android and iOS. No actual release date is set yet, but you can now pre-register (Google Play only) to get notified when it is out. You can also stay tuned to their official site or Facebook for the updates!
