Food Fantasy is finally available on Google Play Store and App Store, so be sure to read our review here. With an abundance of things to do, the game might be overwhelming to beginners at first, so here are things to bear in mind as you play the game.
A balanced diet
Food Souls comprise four types, namely Strength, Defence, Magic and Support. A proper lineup will require a proper balance of these traits, and a basic team will see at least two Strength or Magic Food Souls up in front, while a Defence Food Soul will be up front soaking in the hits. In the back, you will want something with utility to support everyone else.
Take notes
Unlike a lot of similar games, quests here are not tracked automatically. In other ways, you will have to manually start a mission in order to claim rewards for completing it. As such, it will be very easy to miss on precious resources, so when you start playing for the day, check what needs to be done before you move forward.
Clean up
Once you have clear any stage, you will be able to do it again instantaneously by using the Sweep option. All that is needed is the use of stamina which you might come to expect. If you are low on a particular material or item, sweeping a stage is the best way to go about it.
Cooking up a storm
You are only able to serve customers with meals that you have lined up ahead of time, so you will need to go to check every now and then if your kitchen is making anything. While you are able to put any dish up on the prep line, once you have a decent recipe list going on, be sure to check on what each customer likes based on their preferences.
Food for the soul
Just like the customers you feed, your Food Souls too need some nourishment. If you give your Food Soul with a recipe of their choice, you will be able to boost your intimacy score with them. Doing so will in turn boost their overall stats and effectiveness.
Food Fight
While combat in the game is mostly automated, some battles require your attention. Bosses sometimes will wind up and perform special moves, and you are given a small window to prevent that by tapping on them. Not only will you cancel whatever it was they were trying to do, you will also be dealing additional damage. Every now and then, you will see little flying creatures that heal larger creatures. Make taking these pests out your priority in order to avoid making the fights a protracted war of attrition.
