SaGa Scarlet Grace now out for smartphones

After much deliberation, SaGa Scarlet Grace is finally available for the mobile platform, after previously making its rounds for the PS Vita. SaGa Scarlet Grace is the first original console entry in the franchise since 2002.

Among other improvements, the Android and iOS versions boast higher resolution in addition to other tweaks to make it playable for smartphones.

At time of writing, the game is only available in Japanese, but with Square Enix announcing a Steam version, do expect it to be localised down the line

If you are an RPG fan, you will want to check this out, as the SaGa series, while one of the lesser known Square Enix IPs, has a lot going for it. The franchise has been around for almost as long as Final Fantasy, and for good reason too, as it boasts the kind of writing that is comparable to the best RPGs of yore.
