November is coming to an end and soon the holiday season will be here. So what do we do during the holiday season when we have some time off? Well we enjoy and play some games of course! There are several games that will be coming to mobile in December and as an avid mobile gamer, here are my top 5 most anticipated games for December!
1. Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed
As we all know, Dynasty Warriors has a huge series and game history since its first release in 1997. The game revolves around the historical story of the Romance of Three Kingdoms in China. It has a rich story line with a tint of conversation but the most memorable gameplay of all is the hack-and-slash. The game takes us on a journey where we control one of the generals in game to slash our way to victory defending our castle or our king. There are many distinguished historical generals that appear. Giving them the ability to fight with flashy stances and abilities makes the game fun to play and immersive as you pin soldiers to the ground or send them flying.
Now that Nexon is collaborating with Koei Tecmo, the game is set to be released for our mobiles. The gameplay on mobile is the same as its predecessors with an added feature of PVP. There are over 40 generals for you to collect and the boss fights are as intense as ever. There is also a feature where you can switch between the generals you have brought along in a fight to perform ultimate combos with which is really cool! Other than the various missions you get to play, there are special featured generals which would appear during the missions to either battle with you or against you.

2. Torchlight Mobile
Yes Torchlight Mobile is the next Diablo game that was announced since 2015. The game has received numerous awards for best Mobile MMO or RPG by MMORPG and Best Mobile Game by Gamescom at E3 2015. Since then the official page, twitter and facebook page has quieten down and there were no new news about. But not for long, the game has recently passed their CBT in China last month and it was said that the game will come to us real soon by the end of this year!
The game developed by Runic Games has garnered fans since their official release of the PC version in 2009. Due to its huge success of the first title, Torchlight II came not long after in 2012. The game is famous for its wacky characters and fast-paced gameplay. With the random room generator that gives players a new perspective every time they enter a dungeon keeps the game interesting with its ever expanding lore for dungeon explorers.
Torchlight also offers plenty of character progression with its creative skill trees that allows players to play based on their play style. With random item drops as well that almost never gives you the same stats of an item which makes hunting and farming for the best weapons part of the objective in the game. With multiplayer enabled and also a guild system for the game, it is pretty likely that the game will keep players occupied competitively. Now that a new class has been offered in the mobile version, Kitsune; it will most likely attract players to play that job.
Here is the written article of the game in case you have missed it.
3. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
One of the biggest franchise in the Nintendo 3DS, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is coming to our mobiles this December! The game is so popular that it has 4 titles in the series since its first one in 2001. You play as a lawyer, Apollo Justice, to defend your clients and prove their innocence in a case. You will be able to go to the scene of the crime for investigations and to uncover more evidences. Testimonies by suspects will be collected and you will need to answer or question the suspects with caution to unveil the true criminal. The game is full of suspense as if mistakes were made, you will fail the case.
The game is rich in story line and comical characters that appear out of nowhere. You will get to see the character development as well as the character learns and progress in the story. If you like being some sort of a detective and a lawyer, then this game will be really enjoyable. The game is set to release this 1st of December for the iOS and a week later, 8th of December, for Android devices. I have been interested in the series ever since its release on the Nintendo 3DS, however due to my misfortune I do not own a 3DS. So this good news that it is coming to mobile has been the best pick up ever!

4. Super Mario Run
If you are a fan of Super Mario games, then you’re probably interested in Super Mario Run that is coming to your iOS mobile this December 15th. This is the first Super Mario game that is playable on the mobile device and it is going to be huge. The Super Mario franchise has been every where on the Nintendo consoles. It is not surprising that the developers are going to push Super Mario on a bigger platform that is the mobile.
Although this time the game isn’t like it’s classic Super Mario, the gameplay isn’t that far off. You can still run, jump on monsters, eat a mushroom to grow and collecting coins! Except that only this time you can’t control where Mario runs. He will continually run forward as you control his jumping and other actions to bring him to the safety of the castle. But that’s not all; the game features a Kingdom Builder where you build your little mushroom kingdom with pipes, flag poles, blocks and other buildings. This is just a casual game for casual gamers however this is still a fun game to try out since it is a Super Mario title.

5. FlyFF Legacy
If you are a fan of MMORPGs, you’d probably know this game. FlyFF has been around on the PC since 2005. The game is still alive with events being updated most of the time. Now that the game is coming to the mobile platform this is a game to watch out for. If you are a fan of anime styled characters and flying, then this is the game for you. The game is rich in funny emotes and cute little characters which makes your eyes go googly.
The game is a little different than the PC version of course to accommodate the mobile platform. However the graphics and gameplay is still attractive as ever. There are 4 classes to choose from at the start of the game. Then you will be free to roam around in the world of FlyFF. The game is called FlyFF for a reason and it enables your characters to fly around as a mode of transportation which every player can afford; for free. As soon as you hit the right levels in the game, you will be able to fly around the towns to admire the beautiful virtual world. The game is set to be released in December this year and it will be one of the games that I would like to try out my self as an MMORPG enthusiast.
If you’d like to know more about the game you can read our previous written article about it.
So there it is, my top 5 most anticipated games for December. As much as I’d like to play all of them at the same time, I must learn to pace myself as time is my most cruel enemy of all. And also the circumstances that my mobile is not in its best shape lately.
Cheers.
