Maple Blitz X New Teaser Trailer Released!

Maple Blitz X is another game that was mentioned in Nexon KR’s G-Star 2016 preview. The game is a MOBA-style strategy that utilizes cards as “infantry” to battle in the platform. Currently the game has just entered closed beta test in August.

During the CBT, there were 4 playable characters and 3 maps to choose from. There are some similarities to Clash Royale. Players need to choose where to put their troops whether in the top, middle or bottom lane. The troops that players put down has its own skills which is player controlled when it is on cool down. Of course the higher the level the difficulty increases. Traps will appear on the lanes to stop your troops. Players will be able to obtain various cards and even break them to create new spells or monsters.

Just like Clash Royale, players will need to consume elixirs to put down their troops according to its cost. The cards will come into hand randomly as well. As a player’s level goes up new cards will be unlocked for deck building. Notice the similarities? Nonetheless the game still has its own unique qualities compared to the troops you can find in Clash Royale.

The game art looks beautiful just like Maple 2 with a little spin off on the gameplay like Clash Royale. The game looks almost complete from the teaser that we saw. Hopefully the game will soon be out on OBT or better yet, an official release. So far there are no news on when it will be released.
